The only issue I had with this unit was getting the spoke magnet aligned properly. If you look quickly at the manual it seems to show that the spoke magnet could be placed anywhere within the circumference of the sensor of the actual bike pod. However, in actual fact, the spoke magnet needs to be placed at one end or the other of the sensor. Once I corrected this the unit has been working flawlessly.
If you stop your ride you have a few minutes before the connection to the bike pod times out, so you must remember to "re-connect" with the bike pod before continuing. This is no big deal really, after all most bike computers time out as well to save battery life. The same thing happens here, it's just the watch screen is not blank (like a bike computer would be) so you have to be good at remembering to connect if you make long rest stops.
