The jacket is excellent for a lot of uses. I live up in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. I got the Jacket for a nice super light jacket that could take a beating. I use it as a soft shell to go under a hard shell... sometimes I just wear that and a cycling jersey... its perfect for days in the 40s ... It is a nice form fit so it is also nice to throw on under a nice windstopper softshell without feeling bulky and without feeling restricted.
