If youre a gram counter but don't like to spend the night in a "2" person tent where you really get to know the other person up close, this is the tent for you.
I have used this tent in all kinds of places conditions and elevations and I don't think I've ever been so happy with a tent.
To sum it up, I went on a 3 day trip last weekend (Mid May) and we got snowed, rained and a strange combination of the two on every day and night. (Gotta love Canada) On top of that we had warm snaps as well. Since the Mountain Jet is a single-wall tent, I thought condensation was going to be a major problem with the weather changes. However, it really wasn't. We stayed pretty much bone dry the whole weekend. The only real condensation that occurred was over my tent mates head but I'm guessing this was due to the fact he was in a -18C bag in 15C weather and sweating like mad.
At night we were able to sit 4 people in the tent to play cards without getting overly close to each other.
After all is said and done, its a great tent.
