Blue Suede Shoes

Every time I wear my Scarpa Lite Ascents my 3-year old daughter says, in repetition, "I like your blue shoes." Complete strangers tell me the same thing (but usually only once) and ask me where I bought them. I so enjoy beating the metro pavement in my blue suedes that I forget these shoes were really designed to be an all-around backcountry cruiser. I might take them off the pavement some day (as long as they don't get dirty).
