Solid Trail Runners for any trail

I'm on my third pair of the Vitesse and have found them to be unmatched for rugged and rocky trails but equally comfortable for mellow double track or gravel trails. The sole is very thick which adds a bit of weight but also is phenomenal padding for longer runs on the most rugged trail. I've put over 500 miles on each pair I've owned and never had a sharp rock bruise my feet. The mid sole has a torsion stabilizer that helps from rolling an ankle. For hot climates this shoe may not breathe as well as others on the market but they are surprisingly breathable for how little mesh material is visible. Solid lacing system and a comfortable fit = can't go wrong with these. They also do great for hiking if you want a shoe that will trail run and hike.
