Ranked #496 - Midweight Sleep Pads
March 23, 2005
I have not trail tested this air mattress; however I did try it out in the living room one day. I would say that the overall comfort is exceptional compared to anything else I have tried. I am 6' tall and weigh 190 and I found this pad to be comfortable for my size. The pad itself is slightly heavier than a foam pad but is on the light side when compared to most inflatable pads. In my opinion the extra weight is worth a good nights rest. This is not self-inflating pad so it requires a bit more setup time. However I found the task quick and easy enough that I wouldn't consider it a chore after a full days hike. Also, I appreciated that, unlike self inflating pads, this was very easy and quick to deflate and stow in the stuff sack (a stuff sack and repair kit are included.)
