An ashphalt hiking shoe

If you want a proper hiking shoe, this is definitely not it. This chaco's sole is far too soft and is a light-hiking shoe where the terrain is smooth. It offers no protection from the ground below. So if there are rocks and other sharp objects below, it will hurt the foot.
Not a bad casual shoe for around town. The solves are soft and comfortable for walking around. If you are interested in hiking, there are tonnes of better options at less cost. I moved on from this shoe after about 200 miles.
