Damn the delam

I bought these boots a while back for their look, their full Gore-tex lining, and their exceptional value. I popped some aftermarket insoles in them and they seemed to be perfect; nearly broken in out of the box. After a week or so of just day-to-day walking around (before I had a chance to go on a serious hike) to break them in the sole started to delaminate on the right boot. I emailed Scarpa and they eventually got back to me. I mailed the boots in and they're sending me a replacement pair this week. I guess I'll give them another try. So the service from Scarpa wasn't bad but there is still some majorly shoddy workmanship. If there was a 2.5 stars I would go with that.
