Don't buy this if you want to be warm

By Ranked #571 - Women's 3-in-1 Jackets April 10, 2009

This is basically a glorified rain jacket. This coat is basically a rain jacket with a very light fleece underneath. The fleece is so fuzzy that it gets all over your clothes and the sleeves of the fleece are so hard to keep in the shell. If you are wearing anything thicker than a long sleeve teeshirt, you will definitely struggle putting this coat on. This is not due to the size of the coat, but due to the fluzzy fleece. It does a great job as a rain jacket except that the hood doesn't work at all. Maybe it's just me, but the hood catches the wind really easily and comes right off my head! If it's raining, I have to hold the hood the whole time and my arm gets wet.

As for serving as a winter jacket, this coat failed horribly. I go to school in Connecticut where it is freezing cold and windy all winter long. I froze whenever I wore this coat. I can't really explain what about this coat makes it not work except that it is just so thin and the fleece does not add much warmth at all. The wind tore right through the coat. Please don't waste $200 on this coat, buy a down coat instead.
