Acadia II

I find it a bit heavy to lift for storing, but it can hold a lot of weight. It is so bouyant that I was able to help a friend aboard who had capsized another kayak. The Acadia II tracks well and is fast enough for the kind of boat that it is. I use it on Long Island Sound, which can get some waves and wind. When on the water solo, I have used it for fishing with plenty of room for gear. My old Keowee II may have a more comfortable seat, though the Acadia's seat is good.

I just bought a use Keowee 2 a few weeks ago. It only has the 2 seats unlike the keowee 3 that has a kids seat. Do you know if is possible to get a seat that will attach to a keowee 2? There is a bar that runs right down the middle. And our 4 year old doesn't find it too comfy when we put a pad on top of it for him to sit on. I have only seen one other type of child's seat that is suppose to clip under the rear adult seat. But I'm not even sure it would work with the older keowee 2... Any advise on where I could buy one or if it will even adapt to one would be much appreciated!
