Nice vest - toasty!

I purchased this vest to replace a thread-bare old TNF Aurora vest I wore every day for about 9 years. This Marmot is every bit as nice, but a bit thicker and warmer than my TNF was.
I believe that the TNF Aurora was made from micro fleece (+ lycra side panels), while the Marmot is made from Polartec 100. I would guess that even though this is the thinnest of the Polartec lineup, that it's a good 50% thicker. Not a problem in the cool weather, but the Aurora was so good at providing the little "extra" warmth without being a whole other layer.
I'm a big Marmot fan, though, so I can't say anything bad about this vest or any of the many other pieces of Marmot clothing I own. This is right up there with the Dri Clime windshirt as something that will ALWAYS go into the daypack for hiking, skiing, cycling or whatever.
