I bought these after falling in love with the foot bed of the Montrail Molokai flip flop. They are ready-to-wear comfort. No need for the orthotics for short hikes. They are weatherproof and super sturdy so they will be great fall/winter long hauls. These will serve as my winter snow shoe & rain boot too, as long as the fluff is under a foot.
