Ranked #70 - Women's Hiking Pants
April 2, 2009
I had two pairs of these pants that I got in 2004. They were a SIZE 2, LONG and I loved them, but have completely worn them out in the past five years. I was so happy to see that they're still available, so I ordered two pairs again in SIZE 2, LONG. This time the size TWO is HUGE on me and FAR TOO LONG! Why can't sizes stay the same? If Americans are getting bigger and fatter, they should just have to deal with wearing a larger size instead of having manufacturers make larger clothes. I paid $15/pair to have them altered since they're not available in a ZERO. They're still too big, but usable.

They have these pants in a 0 now =) I feel you on the sizes for outdoors clothing not being made for small people. I'm an avid climbing 5'2 and very tiny and struggle finding clothing made by North Face, Prana and Mountain Hardware that actually fit.
