Good Gloves

I normally don't use gloves when I'm climbing or belaying, but I tore up my hand pretty bad opening up a can of chicken noodle soup (Long Story) so I needed something to cover up my hand for belaying, so I bought these gloves. They are thick, heavy duty gloves that fit pretty well. The doublelayer leather is strong and just putting the glove on you know it's a tough, reliable glove. The carabineer holes on the wrists are pretty cool for racking them on your harness. The only problem I have with them is that there is less grip than if you were using your free hands. You have to squeeze harder to catch the rope because the grip is reduced, which can really wear your hands down after a dozen belays or so, but once you get used to that then they are a great piece of equipment to have for climbing.
