Ranked #888 - Alpine Fat Skis
March 30, 2009
I have skied on the 777's and the 888's over the last couple of seasons and think they are terrific. Bought the 999's thinking they would be similarly good skis. Turns out they are way too heavy and unresponsive, very hard to turn in any heavy snow conditions, ok on groomers if you lay them way over. They come with a lot of structure in the base which probably creates some of the problem in turning, I am going to have my base redone to try to fix the problem.
