This is a very specialized peice of gear and does not need to replace all your dogbones. At what it does, it is so great. I have 4 that I use on super sketchy gear when aiding and climbing ice. The Dyneema is rad, these used to be made by Yates with standard nylon and they were super bulky. These are great. You wont want to ever use them, and when you do you will likely be crapping in your pants, but you will be really gald you have them.

"...these used to be made by Yates with standard nylon and they were super bulky." 1) They still are and 2) insignificatly so. Stick with the Yates screamer and use the screamer "zipper" (same price as mammut) of your first piece (zipper one is activated by less force)
