Okay.. I will tell you a few down falls before the great things that are obvious. **These ONLY SHIP IN THE U.S.**1) If it gets really cold out. The band that fits over the toe "Will Snap". That sucks. I know 4 people that this has happened to up at Brighton Ski Resort in UT. FACT! (but dont worry to much on that. Ride will switch them out no questions asked. And Dogfunk will return anything if youre not 100% satisfied. 2) The Set up takes forever. Fact!! 3) On the outside of the binding is a lip that is supposed to keep your toe from twisting out. Sorry... If these are not strapped down insane tight? Than your front foot will slip over the lip. A majority of Riders that owns these has had this problem. Easy fix-make them super tight if you want to lean back for POW or Riding that tail into the lift line. Now the PROS.. The in and out of these is killer fast. Just one quick yank and KA-BLAM! Your done. Also the flex laterally is wonderful for shifting your weight over the board. Overall... Killer binding. This will become popular in the next few years with most binding companies.

After owning these for the season, i can tell you that Sterling hit it right on the nose. These are not all mtn freeride stiff bindings if thats what you're into. these are for the park and freestyle, lightest bindings ever. Although I have a tough time believing that the band will actually break even at extreme low temps, mine never did. the setup takes some time but thats not as important as being able to adjust the binding on the fly, ex: forward lean (yes) or strap length (ankle only). and yes, i had my boot slip out past the small lip on the lateral edge a couple of times. the newest model has this issue resolved, they put a higher lip on it. the biggest thing i would check is boot compatibility. i had the large binding that was supposed to fit 9-11 but my Rome Libertine size 10 was never able to have the front band come directly over the top middle of the boot even at its maxed out length. response was good, pressure point...not as good. clever idea, but still not as fast as rear entry flows or cinches.
