The problem I have with this sort of jacket is: Why Ski/Ride in down unless you are SERIOUSLY cold - and I mean Canada cold. Surely the way to go is to layer up and then add/lose layers as required ?
I managed to find this jacket at the Patagonia Outlet store just outside Reno - I didn't really need it but it was a stupid bargain, so it is mine. The jacket itself is typical Patagonia: High build quality, slightly strange colour choice, pretty good detailing. I wish they would include wrist gaitors though...
Overall then: If you like HOT jackets, literally, then this is for you. You will sweat though.
