Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding

Great for a Burton binding.

By Ranked #43 - Snowboard Bindings March 23, 2009

I got the orange ones and they look sick, feel sick, and feel very durable. I've ridden them prolly on 10 different occasions and they performed great. Just remember: Burton is NOT the best when it comes to bindings. These are good bindings but there are better things out there if your picky. Union and Rome are also very recommended. The Cartels were a very good buy and I see them lasting me a couple seasons. I do lots of park with some normal east-coast riding and on those icey conditions, they give me lots of control. The high-back is also a huge plus. Crank em forward and you get some gnarly control on the hard packed/ice. The ankle strap is nice and comfy with no pressure points and the toe strap is good as well. Only downside for me, is that when I think they are tight, they end up loosening up a lot to where the toe strap comes off my toe. Lil annoying but there are worse things that could be wrong. If I were to rate these between 1 and 10.....I'd give em an 8. Btw, if you don't use a Burton board, the 4 holed plate that comes with it is NOT padded like the 3 holed plate.
