The X-Plate is a legit backcountry plate. It's highly collapsible, somewhat lightweight, and the bottom can be used as a cutting board. These things are food safe, can go down to 40F, up to 356F, can be used with boiling water, and are dishwasher safe. Talk about bombproof. These things rock!
