First time I wore these, I got stuck in a pretty massive rainstorm. Within minutes the shoes were full of water and I had to stop to wring out my socks! The shoes took 4 days in the tropical sun to dry out properly. Having said that, it was a tropical downpour - so no shoe could have survived it dry.
Since then I have done some pretty good trail runs and mountain hikes in these shoes, and they are supportive and comfortable for both flat road running and for sliding down the side of a mountain trail in the light rain.
I would buy them again for sure.
