Versatile "powder" ski
By TMoney83835
Ranked #166 - Big Mountain Freeride Skis
March 17, 2009
Picked up a pair of 173's & have had a really hard time deciding when to ski these over my 168 nomads. As other reviewers have said these things rail turns like race skis (having gone through the longer/stiffer is better phase - including 223 DH boards at one point - I understand). Yesterday was an epiphany ski day; a foot of inlandPNW powder & I ripped on these like I never had before! On the corduroy they are outstanding and although I have not tried yet corn is supposed to like powder. Buy these skis! You won't regret it.
