Great pants ... for shorter legs

First, customers need to be warned that (at least when I purchased them), the sizing table was shifted by one column. I bought S in disbelief (but according to the table) and had to exchange them for M. I measured both pairs and they corresponded to XS and S from the table, respectively. So M measures exactly 32 inseam but still looks pretty short on me. Usually 33 is long enough for me (I am 5-10), so there must be something strange with the cut.
Other than my length problems (which I am sure most people don't care about), these are great pants. There is some elasticity to the fabric indeed and they are very comfy. I don't use the straps (they are removable), as I don't need them, so the pants are easy to use all day long. However, the higher waist is helpful to keep your waist covered. I got a midweight merino base layer to wear underneath but on sunny warmer days I was getting toasty (still dry though). Ideally dry and comfy in the snow storms.
