A good Winter-Shoe

I bought these shoes to replace my water-proof salomons from 5 years ago (if that tells you anything about quality). I needed a shoe that would be warm and waterproof for winter walking around town. I love the look of these shoes, and they are generally pretty comfortable. The only problem is that the connected tongue on one of the shoes get's a wrinkle in it if I am not careful when I tie it, and this can be pretty uncomfortable. This is easy to fix though, and isn't always a problem. My friend at work took one look at these babies and bought a pair on backcountry.com as well (a week after I did when they went on sale!). I would recomend these shoes as a basic waterproof shoe, and suggest that you buy a half size smaller than usual, as salomon tends to run large.
