Not sure of use

This is in regards to the Clear-Chrome lenses. In general the lenses work fine, no issues with fogging etc. However I'm not really sure what to use them for. Got them for nightskiing, they do an OK job but the "chrome" make them a bit dark when you're in shadows which strains your eyes. Since during the day I much rather use amber or rose colored lenses I really don't know when these would be ideal. (Maybe the yellow-chrome would've worked better by brightening things up a bit).
