I'm fairly new to hydration bladders. I've owned my camelback for bout a year now and love it. However, before I ever bought it I had read many reviews on bladders altogether. It seems camelbak makes the only foolproof non-burstabble bladder, which is why I got camelbak. At any rate, the one thing I noticed to be a non-stop complaint with any manufacturer's bladders was the 'drip effect'. I am gearing up for a hike thru the AT and the last thing I would want is a leaky hose drippin all over me and loosing valuable water during a thru hike. So, I purchased this hydrolock to compliment my bladder and have never had the first issue with it. I am very pleased that I spent (come on) 6 xtra bucks to have this feature with my hydration system. Do yourself a favor and throw this in with your bladder purchase!

...side note = I also purchased the cleaning kit along with my hydration system and it is a nice/convenient addition as well...def. worth 10 bux!
