Good pack for most of us

It kills me to see people give products poor ratings for size when the size/capacity is listed! Yes, it is 690cu in small, but I have been able to pack (1) pair of gloves, (1) pair of sunglasses, (1) Sigg 0.6L water bottle, (1) hat, (1) light fleece underlayer, (1) transceiver, (1) 2-way radio, (1) ziplock of jerky, dried mango and fruit snacks and (1) wallet...all at the same time w/o any trouble! I could probably fit some skins in there too. This is a slick, well designed, minimalist pack that makes a lot of sense for all those who know how to pack a pack and don't want/need to look like a sherpa. If you need more capacity, check out the Outlaw or Covert.

i do agree but i also have a question, did you all of that stuff in this pack along with the shovel and probe that comes with this package or did you put all of that stuff in there without the shovel?

Im with Jay. Look at the size capacity before you say its small as a negative comment. It was designed asa minimilist pack for backcounrty. Like Jay I have fit all he listed above plus a first aid kit. Was also able to attach my ice axe and campons to the outside of the pack with ease. I have been able to spend a full day in the backcountry and have everything I would ever need.
