this jacket is amazing and feels indestructable.. finally north face made a totally waterproof down jacket. hyvent material is just as good as gortex and way more affordable. I used one of my hyvent north face ski jacket shells to hike in a torential downpoor for 10 hours on mount washington and stayed completely dry. This jacket is defintelty the most warm and comfortable jacket ive ever own. And I admit to being a jacketaholic. night skiing with the girlfriend in 5 degree weather is now a pleasure. If your skiing hard throughout the day or hittin the bumbs, expect to sweat alittle even with the pit zips open. worth it though when taking the freezing chairlift ride back up. never really need more than a t-shirt for layering. features and quality of materials and make is the best there is.
