I have three jackets from Arc'teryx all say made in Canada.I was telling a friend that is why there so expensive.Then this morning Im packing my Arc'teryx bora 65 backpack for a 4 day hike and guess what I saw a label saying made in china.So tell me if someone in China is being paid $30.00 a month to make Arc'teryx why are they not at Wallmart for $39.99?

Not made in China. Check again. The Philippines. And most high-end gear is made in Asia. No reason to give a poor rating to a pack you thought was great before.

You don't really think that anything made is China is poor quality, and should be sold at Wal-mart, do you? My MacBook computer is made there, and it's a beautiful thing, just like my jacket that was made in China. Look at the details of construction, not the label!

It is likely that the fabric used for part, or all, of the pack in manufactured in china, but the real workmanship is still done in Canada.
