not a school/work/laptop bag

this bag looked great on "paper" - waterproof, made from hemp and recycled plastic - but i'm returning it because it won't work for me for school/work. this is a backpacking pack made with thin, plastic fabric, one large main compartment and a frame - not very laptop friendly. it comes with a waterproof cover, as it is not waterproof on its own. it also doesn't look like it's made of hemp. the tag inside says "100% polyamide" and nothing that came with the bag mentions hemp at all. basically, this is a plastic backpacking bag, so if that's what you're looking for, great, but if it's not, pick something else. i am.

So you gave the pack only two stars because you bought the pack for a purpose it wasn't designed for? So based on your logic and ill-advised review....if I bought a Honda Accord to go off-roading, I'd be disappointed too. I mean, on paper, it's got four wheels, doors, seats, and an engine so it should be able to do what a Wrangler could do...but it doesn't. Why? Because it wasn't built to go off-road and that is why people don't buy Accords to go off-roading! Just like this pack you bought wasn't designed to be a school/work/laptop bag. Don't give something a bad rating because of your oversight. It's not fair to the product...or to Backcountry.
