Good Jacket, just don't break it
By Anonymous
Ranked #1654 - Men's Rain Jackets
February 27, 2009
I had purchased this jacket in 2006, now in 2009 I am without any rain jacket at all.
Everything had been going great with the jacket until I accidently washed it. This totally delaminated the NCR, (the stuff that sheds the water) and now my active running shirts were more waterproof then this thing.
So I did what Marmot said to and sent it in on November 20th or so. 5 weeks later they sent me the wrong size in return. I quickly packed that one up and sent it back, only to realize that the warranty department had shut down for a few weeks over christmas.
I patiently waited until January 30th, when I wrote an email to the warranty department. (an address to the person listed as handling the return on the wrong size jacket). He said it takes roughly four weeks to process a claim, it had been six. And now it has been nine weeks and I have not heard anything or seen my jacket show up in the mail. I will write one more email, and after that I will only buy Mountain Hardwear,Patagonia or Arcteryx (If I can afford it)
