i had shopping for a new snowboarding jacket for quite a long time, and i finally decided on this one, and im glad i did. It is ultra waterproof, but it doesnt feel like a chunk of plastic like the north face capt 10 speed does. It has more pockets than you can shake a stick at, and both the hood and the snow skirt are removable, which makes it nice for when you want to wear it around town. The only thing i can find that is a negative, and its veeery small, is that it can be difficult to zip and unzip the vents in the pit, but it just takes some getting used to. Other than that, if you are in the market for a snowboarding jacket, dont think twice and grab this one, especially at the price backcountry is selling it.
