Wonderful shades!

Sure, polarized shades are nice for driving (to cut the glare off of the road). But to use Kaenon Kore's for just driving would be like using your Porsche (assuming you have one, which I certainly don't) just for trips to the corner store. No, I really *need* good polarization when I'm sight-fishing for trout, on the snow, or driving on wet roads. Since polarization is so important for fly-fishing, I've gone through polarized shades from Oakley, Maui Jim, Smith, Bolle, Costa Del Mar, Action Optics, etc. And none of these work as well as my Kores (C12) in terms of clarity, comfort, and coverage (i.e., no light gets in around the lenses, and they don't block my field of vision). Yes, they give a little of a "bug-eye" look, but their performance can't be beat! I even like them so much that I picked up another pair with the Y35 lens, and these work great for low-light conditions (before sunrise or after sunset, or on very cloudy days).

If I had to come up with one complaint, it would be that the fit and coverage are so good that air flow is reduced, and these sunglasses can fog up if I'm involved in very aerobic activities. I also have a pair of Hard Kores that I often wear when I'm putting off heat. The Hard Kore is also an excellent pair of shades, but the lens is somewhat smaller (but not small). Which ever one you choose, Kaenon polarized sunglasses are some of the best shades you will ever find.
