This shirt is very baggy and almost as thin as silk (you can see through it). I have one other Cap2 top and the newer version doesn't even compare. My older one is thicker is no were nearly this baggy. This is going back :(

i'd try cap 4 or something from the flash hoody by patagonia or something if you want something warmer.

i would not say this layer is baggy at all. the reason why your older generation cap2 top might fit tighter is after several washings. my older ones fit a little tighter...but that's after excessive use and washes. i have several of these. from several years back and the new ones, and they're both slimmer fit.
