This vest feels like what you imagine recycled plastic bottles made into clothing would feel like: not that soft or pliable. The black color is a bit chalky, and the fit isn't as nice as portrayed in the picture. Is it that hard to make a vest that fits both in the arm holes and the chest? I'm a medium B cup, and usually wear a small vest, but this one, like many vests I've tried on, was more of a guy's cut. I returned it and will continue looking for a vest that has a more hourglass, flattering cut.
If you simply need a warm core layer, this is a good economical choice.
