hypothermic hazard; poor design

No! Dont buy Atlas. Your backside will get frozen and its not only annoying, its dangerous. At first I thought it was the way I walked - how the shoes threw so much snow up my backside; I tried walking different ways and still my legs, butt and back were pelted with snow all the same. So I went looking for answers and was shocked to find Atlas website claims it is part of their unique design, and that flipping snow up may stop when they are broken in. This is my second season in these shoes and they are still throwing snow. So, how is this dangerous? Because your body heat melts the snow and your clothes become wet and frigid think hypothermia if you stop moving!

You should be wearing waterproof clothes or GTX if you're going in the snow! Then they wouldn't become wet and "dangerous".
