Warmth and fit are wonderful. I use this coat over nothing more than a cotton turtleneck and stay toasty all day. It may be too restrictive for physical activity, but it's perfect for a day in the park or walking around town. Best use is below freezing. 35 is okay if you won't work up a sweat. Above 40, it's too warm. Comfort is very good, although the collar tends to chafe despite the (minimal) lining. Lots of pockets are a bonus. As usual for me, North Face's hoods are a trick to get right. Some kind of instruction on the sales tag would be welcome. All in all, an excellent buy.
