Salomon Scarlet First Class All the Way

I'm 5'3" tall and 123 pounds. I'm an aggressive all mountain skier. I find these skis incredibly maneuverable in even the deepest snow. You can actually use them to do a modified "carve", even in really deep snow. They respond quickly and the float is super. They're at their best on soft snow, and in very deep, not so great on hard pack piste. But, the key to using them on the piste is to adjust your stance to slightly wider than usual. This allows these skis to carve beautifully. I have the 154cm and would not want longer. I think that almost any level of skier could enjoy these. But they really come alive in the deep stuff. I would not choose them as an all-mountain ski, that I would leave to the Salomon Lady.
