Gear Review
Great value for BOA

Ranked #313 - Snowboard Boots
February 11, 2009
Tried on K2 Raider, Vans Encore, and Ride Jackson...all ran a little tight around the foot. The DC Scouts were snug without suffocating the puppies.
The only downside that is common with the BOA boots at this price point is that the lacing on the top of the foot is somewhat sparse maybe resulting in some looseness at the top of the foot. Only the Ride Jackson's address this with another criss-cross of laces.
There aren't many features to the Scouts either that you may find with other boots...no anti-odor coating, no fancy memory foam, and no high-tech thermal protection.
But at the end of the day, snowboarding can hurt and these were the only boots I felt comfortable in from the start.
