For Posers...

Ranked #2153 - Women's Fleece Jackets

I work at an outdoor shop in a college town, and guess what our best seller is? THE DENALI. Literally, every fall, campus is a sea of black jackets. You know why? Because sororities and fraternaties have a cult facination with looking the same. they want to look 'cool' and 'casual' so they buy it for the big THE NORTH FACE logo on it. It's not practical, its not windproof or waterproof, its a stupid jacket for posers.
if you're considering buying this for your daughter, maybe you should have a talk with her, and ask yourself a few question. Is she buying it because she wants a nice jacket, or is she buying it to fit in? Is she a middle schooler? Does she own a Roo? (for the love of God, do NOT buy her a Roo. The Denali/Roo combo is the ULTIMATE sorority chic combo for airheads from middle school all the way up to college.)
PLEASE invest insomething practical, like a Mountain Hardwear or a Patagonia. Actually, don't. I REALLY don't want these companies turning into the new TNF.
