Fantastic Jacket!

By Ranked #278 - Men's Softshell Jackets January 19, 2009

This jacket is awesome. I have owned many jackets from hard shell to soft shell over the years and this thing is beast. Comfortable, breathable, and definitely element proof. I have been snowed on, rained on, and been in gail force winds in this bad boy. Although you will need some additional layering in some conditions, this jacket is ideal for looking cool whether headed to your favorite coffe shop, hitting the gym, going for a brisk run, or just hanging at the bar, look no further. I was truly impressed with the quality of the jacket, and the fit seems custom tailored for me, I'm 5'8 155 lean build. I also get comments from guys and girls, from fellow gear junkies to naive friends. Truly a great jacket to have in your arsenal, in fact I bought this originally for specific activities and fell in love with it, and now its all I wear. Ok, I could keep praising the jacket but you get the point - money jacket.

ErkMD, What size did you buy? I'm 5'9 170 lean/muscular build and I'm trying to decide whether to go with the medium or large. Also what color did you get? I like the carrot but wonder if it's too much. Thanks! CEM

CEM, no probelm.. I have the Medium Carbon..style wise it looks great the color is better in person than on the computer. The carrot is pretty sick too, so color wise you should be good either way. However, the carbon may have a little more versatility for style around town, the carrot might look a little to technical to wear every day. The medium is snug but not tight around my chest and shoulders, and the arms are perfect length for me (usually most things are too long for my shorter arms). I have about a 40-41 chest, waist 32, and sleeve of 32. So if youve got an inch on me and more muscles you might consider a Large. Bascially, the Medium will fit you very athletic/snug and the large will be a little bit looser. If youre wearing this with just a T-shirt i say rock the medium for sure, but if you plan and doing some serious layering rock a large.. hope that helps
