If I can ski them, you can

By Backcountry.com Sponsored Athlete Ranked #123 - Big Mountain Freeride Skis January 14, 2009

At 5'8", 125 lbs., I hear a lot of comments from people wondering if the Mothership is really my ski or if I am just carrying them for someone else. Seriously? Yes they are stiff, but that doesn't mean you can't dance on them. Plus, they have a little early rise, so they ski a bit shorter than their listed length. If I were to have only one pair of skis this season, these would be the boards. They are a reasonable size underfoot, so you don't have too much ski when it is hardpack and you definitely have enough when the snow is piling up. The flex pattern makes them extremely trustworthy. The only thing they may not be too great for would be hardpack bumps, but who likes to ski those anyhow?
