I was worried about these shoes being too large after reading other reviews on the site, but they are great with a pair of hiking socks. Plenty of toe room for the downhill jogs. I am fine with the size, but wish I could have tried on a 1/2 size smaller first. I bought them to hike and run through the rainforest and on the beaches of costa rica -- my feet stayed dry and were able to breath very well (even with the gore-tex lining). They replaced hiking boots and I won't travel without these shoes. Plus, the zip cord makes like so much easier!
