Marmot Guides Down Vest - Men's

Item #MAR1249 | 27 in Stock

Don't leave home without it

By Ranked #493 - Men's Vests January 9, 2009

Very warm, plush, not too pooofy. Returned the large 'cause my belly isn't that round. (yet) The medium black is slick and fits well even though I have broad shoulders and ape like arms. Put a coat over it and it makes me look buff.

I'm 6'2 and ordered the large but it seems like the vest has too much room in the stomach section, as you indicated yourself. You think the medium would be too short ?

PUT IN THE DRYER ON "COOL" CYCLE WITH A TENNIS SHOE FOR ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES AND IT IT WILL PUFF OUT NICELY.TONY

I'm 6" and size 35 waist, 32 leg in pants (which should translate to short legs and a longer torso. The XL in this jacket was extremely wide for me. The Large was narrower than the XL (probably could have been a little more narrow for my liking) and the length covered came down just over my belt - so I was ok with the length but would have preferred it be another 1/2 inch longer if I had the choice. I ended up going with the large. I also tried on the 700 fill North Face vest - it was slighty longer than the Marmot and more fitting in the width. Honestly the Northface fit better and I would have bought it but I just couldn't get past the big white logo on the front and back. Marmot seems to be more sublte about that sort of thing.
