The vest was a Christmas gift for our granddaughter. I had to return it because it was not what she wanted. She wanted a FLEECE vest which I thought this one was. It was only fleece inside not outside. Might have been my error but the description said fleece so I thought it was. Needless to say I won't order online again. Wish there were more retail stores that sell North Face brand in my area. My star rating is because it was a Christmas gift.

Technically it IS a fleece vest, because as you said, the fleece is on the inside. You really need to search the internet more or look at the pictures to see that the outside is not fleece. Your rating is unfair and unhelpful as you are judging the websites description and NOT the actual product. Google is your friend, Kay!
