I love this guy. I always gave people who had gaiters a hard time. After wearing these guys after a fresh snow, I was sold. Kept snow out of boots and also kept my crampons from snagging my pants on those long climbs. A must have for all winter sports people.

Gaiters are great for keeping scree and rock out of the boots too, though fashion sense would dictate a short set.
