Not that this is your "everyday" jacket, but this is the jacket I wear every day. I don't ski anymore or do any winter sports besides beerpong and the occasional mtb ride when the ice lets up, but this jacket is sweet. My criteria were that my jacket be windproof(wasn't worried too much about waterproof), not ride up when I lift my arms, cover my bum(which climbing jackets do nicely) and be light so I don't feel like I'm toting a monkey on my back. This jacket fit all the criteria and looks good in a subdued way to boot! The only thing I would like on the jacket are watertight zips, but since it isn't a waterproof jacket perhaps thats asking too much. All in all a great jacket through 2 years of use! I'm 5'10" 175 lbs and bought the large, could've done with a M, but like the room for a heavy under layer.
