Gear Review
A great ski that can turn.

I ski in the Sierra Nevadas. Wet snow, dry snow, hot, and cold; the weather can be, well, unpredictable. Then I get to contend with people on snow shoes and others who posthole the tracks. This ski just gets through it all. It is narrow enough for tracks, wide enough for float in dry snow, has enough sidecut for great turns when the trail sucks, and light enough to be friendly on the uphills with the softened camber that makes climbing steeper ungroomed trails a breeze.
This ski works, and it is bomb proof. I bought a pair for the distaff side, and she smiled the whole way. Backcountry sales staff were true to form as usual: knowledgeable, helpful, laid-back, friendly, and with the best deals in the country. Backcountry makes shopping for the best gear easy.
