I work for the forest service in the Pacific Northwest. This is my go-to jacket for nearly every day of work. I wore this jacket to work in the woods every day for 4 months and it doesn't show any signs of wear. The form fitting is ideal for unrestricted range of motion. I have found that it performs awesome in light rain and windy conditions. It is also light and stuffable so it takes up minimal room in my pack when I do decide to take it off, which is very rare in the spring and fall. I don't go into the woods without it.
