These are beautiful for the moderate cold days between -5 to 15-, I have not been got up to the colder temperatures but I am sure they will be great for rippin. I am in the park mostly and one of the worst thing to do is fall and get your hand hit because usually your hands go numb, freeze, and you have to go into the chalet for a cup of hot chocolate to warm your hands up. But not for these, When I missed my 540 and hit my hand the knuckle guards protected my hand and leaved not one scratch on them. BEAUTIFUL
